This week’s episode discusses the recommended ammunition and bullets that function well in the Model 89 chambered in 500 S&W Magnum.
Being a very versatile cartridge, there are more than 100 different .500 caliber bullets available to load for the 500 S&W. Keep in mind to stay away from most pointed bullets as a chain fire reaction can occur during recoil if a hard bullet is resting on the primer of the cartridge in front of it in the magazine tube.
